Description
Unna is a rack designed for offices and workrooms that can be put on tables and walls. It has a security system that sends a warning signal to the user's smart device if their belongings have been touched or moved.
This project is a collaboration with Planning Sisplamo, a brand that manufactures and distributes office equipment. They asked third-year degree students to create a versatile and secure design to store the personal belongings of office workers.

Unna can be easily used as a desk rack to keep the worker's personal items within easy reach.
The same rack can also be placed vertically on the office wall thanks to an iron wall hook that can be installed wherever the worker desires.
When the weight sensor detects some change or move, it sends a notification to the user's smart device, thus preventing theft.
Unna consists of a 1 mm thick extruded aluminum structure and 0.3 mm thick silicone parts, which are used to protect the sensors inside the product and to cover the aluminum parts where the user's objects are hung, therefore preventing wear and tear.
