Description
Cleaby is an all-in-one changing station for babies that guarantees a clean and effective diaper change. It has an innovative design compared to conventional changing stations that can be found in most restaurants and cafés.
It is the result of a group project that was submitted to the Essity University Challenge 2018-19, a competition run by two companies, Tork and Essity. Students from partner universities were invited to submit their ideas and solutions in hygiene and health challenges in hostelry establishments.

How to use it
This new system offers a clean spot for each user. The plastic surface protector has a die-cutting pattern that, with the pressure of the lid, breaks and wraps each diaper individually. Both sides of the protector roll up at the end creating a tension that shifts the protector automatically, replacing the one that has been used.
IoS
Cleaby is equipped with weight and proximity sensors that send a warning signal when the trash is full or when the surface protector needs a refill. The cleaning staff and the owner can use this information to increase the efficiency of the restaurant.
