Description
Monsty's Universe is a project that aims to help hospitalized children that have to stay in medical facilities for long periods. It's an interactive game that makes their stay more pleasant and enjoyable.
It was a design proposal for the Interactive Design's subject in the third year of university. Although its initial purpose was academic, the team wants to develop the project in the future and make an actual and useful app.

How does it work
This app is designed to work on touchable tablets and to be used by medical staff and patients. It allows the doctor to adjust the game to each individual, according to their needs and treatments, and monitoring their activity. Thanks to the reminders and the awards in the app, it instills lifestyle habits in children, such as doing exercise, having a healthy diet, and taking medication. Furthermore, it encourages them to build friendships, and it helps them to overcome physically and emotionally the processes or interventions they have to go through.
